Interesting facts about the Building Program in 2004...
The Building Program took 10 months to complete.
We now use the new building as a Grade 5/6 area as well as our Library.
The new building was opened by Bishop Hilton Deakin and The Honourable Chris Pearce on Thursday 4th August 2005.

  A major part of our 2004 year was the new Building Program that allowed St. Simon's to enjoy the benefits of a new library, office area and several new classrooms. A new two story building was erected and this houses our new library area as well as 6 new classrooms and a teacher resource room.
Currently the new classrooms are being utilised as Grade 5/6 rooms. All of this work from 2004 has been archived and can be viewed by following the link below
  December 2003
 
December 8th - 12th. Work finally begins.
December 15th - 19th. Work continues before Christmas
  January 2004
 
January 12th - 23rd . Work continues over the school holidays.
January 26th - 30th. Back to school and the foundations have been laid.
  February 2004
 
February 2nd - 13th. Concrete has been laid.
February 16th - 27th. Scaffolding has been erected.
  March 2004
 
March 1st - 19th. Concrete and steel structures have been erected.
  April/May 2004
 
April 1st - May 14th. Main building is making good progress.
  June/July 2004
 
June 1st - July 16th. New office area is being built.
  August 2004
 
August 1st - 31st. Main building almost completed.
  September/October 2004
 
September/October. New building is finished and we are ready to move in.
